On June 22, 2026, the Global Value Investment Association (GVIA), Xiangjiang Business School, Xiangjiang Club, S Media Group and Dark Horse Research Institute jointly signed the Multilateral Strategic Alliance and Cooperation Framework Agreement in Hong Kong to form a multilateral strategic alliance. Leveraging Hong Kong’s strengths as an international financial center, the alliance will build an integrated professional service platform for controlling families of listed enterprises, second-generation successors and key executives.

Amid the restructuring of the global economic landscape, intergenerational succession, global expansion and capital operations have emerged as common industry challenges for family businesses. The five parties will integrate resources across academic education, premium networking, offline events, financial media and professional think tanks to deliver a five-in-one service system covering academic empowerment, networking connection, practical implementation, financial PR and strategic think tank services. Benchmarked against the operating models of the world’s top business schools and think tanks, the alliance focuses on three core tracks: enterprise succession, overseas expansion, and value management of listed companies.

The alliance adopts a three-tier governance structure. The Strategic Council serves as the highest decision-making body, with senior leaders of the five parties holding quarterly deliberations and all resolutions requiring unanimous approval. The Executive Committee oversees daily operations, and an annual rotating chairmanship system coordinates brand building and strategic advancement.

Each party has clearly defined roles and complementary strengths:

  • Xiangjiang Business School, as the academic hub, provides offline venues, develops core curricula and runs an internationally accredited FDBA Doctor of Finance program;

  • GVIA, as the networking platform, integrates global high-net-worth entrepreneurs and investment institutions, establishes a standardized membership system and facilitates cross-border investment and financing;

  • Xiangjiang Club hosts exclusive high-end events including private board meetings, closed-door salons and cross-border business dinners;

  • S Media Group builds an all-media matrix and delivers full-suite services covering brand building, public opinion risk control and financial PR;

  • Dark Horse Research Institute develops industry databases, regularly publishes research reports and annual white papers, and provides one-on-one strategic diagnostics.

The alliance launches three collaborative business lines to form a complete service closed loop. First, premium specialized training that integrates online and offline teaching, with credits counting toward the doctoral program. Second, tiered offline events operated on a regular basis at three levels: monthly salons, quarterly forums and annual summits. Third, think tank research and full-domain PR services. The alliance also enables mutual recognition of student and membership status, offers tiered benefits spanning basic, advanced and high-end custom levels, and supports two-way resource flow across all parties to build a complete service ecosystem.

A GVIA representative noted that the alliance, built on Hong Kong’s international advantages, breaks down industry resource barriers. Going forward, it will continue to focus on the core needs of listed family enterprises, support smooth succession and global development through closed-loop professional services, and steadily strengthen its industry influence across the Asia-Pacific region.
